Detente

I wasn't sure whether this was a truce or a white flag (more observant people will see it is a bit of kitchen roll). It was a battle between the facts and don't believe everything that you read. It was not even about Irish history it was something about Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton. The French Revolution was thrown in as well. Seemingly  the majority of Americans celebrating Independence Day on the 4th July do not know which country they got Independence from. These are not my words I am only quoting here. I wonder if it is true.
