Contrast

Raining when we got up, and more rain forecast for this evening. We have lots to do but it's Bank Holiday Monday, so we decided to take advantage of the dry spell and get out for a late-morning walk on Weetwood Moor. When we reached the track across to the Moor there was a fleeting patch of blue sky to our right, highlighting the first flowers on the oilseed rape. To our left grey sky, and clouds building over The Cheviot (extra).

Home for a late lunch (pea and ham soup, that MrM had made earlier), followed by some admin.
