Beach scene

It’s been a fairly sunny day with a cool wind. My husband and I popped down to the shops first thing and had a short walk along the beach. The beach huts have been assembled for the summer and people were out enjoying the scenery or having breakfast at the local cafes. It wasn’t as cold as yesterday which was nice.

When we returned out grandson had another Easter egg hunt in the garden and he was much quicker this time.

After lunch we headed out to Bicton Gardens where Lucas spend all the time at the small stream mainly throwing flowers and petals in the water and then using long sticks to fish around in the water. Several children of similar ages came by and had a short play but Lucas wasn’t going to be distracted. He clearly loves this type of play.

A lovely day out with another enjoyable meal at home.
