Typical Bank Holiday weather!

We did check the forecast but expected better than this! We started with a lovely drive up Sutton Bank to the visitor centre, where we had a delicious hot chocolate. We then drove down to the White Horse car park and back up again. I wanted to do Sutton Bank as it is 25% and I wanted to see how the car coped, with a smaller engine than I am used to. I noticed the difference but it still passed! :-))

We then drove to Filey in the hope of a walk along the beach but we drove into some terrible weather. We couldn't park along the front so ended up in Tesco's car park for our picnic. It had then brightened up a bit so we decided to go to RSPB Bempton for a walk, but it was raining hard again as we approached so we gave up on that idea. We headed into Bridlington instead and sat in the car along the front for a while, watching all the passersby getting soaked. This photo sums up the day. Quite different from yesterday's sunrise (which I have now backblipped)
