La Cascata on Pasquetta

Easter Monday or Pasquetta is a national holiday in Italy. Everything is closed except a few ‘holiday’ destinations, such as the La Cascata delle Marmore, the waterfall. We are talking hundreds, thousands of Italians…babies, grandparents, dogs, lots of dogs, descended on this place! A mini Niagra Falls at Disneyland. So many lined up to climb up and down the narrow stairs to take in the full majesty of these falls. My photos were many and none do the beauty justice.
