A Long Way Up

We requested the help of a tall friend to assist us with the fixing of our washing line pulley, so Dan dropped by. He enjoyed feeling even taller than usual standing on top of the ladder. Thanks for your help Dan!

Exams are now over and done for the year - what a relief! Hopefully I have passed them all, or at very least passed enough of them to get through to next year. It was a good feeling not having to revise this afternoon.

I met up with my friend Francie for lunch at Brew Lab; she's leaving Edinburgh on Saturday and it was great to have a good blether before she heads off. We had this amazing soup, and their coffee was pretty good too, although I didn't quite feel hipster enough for the place despite being called hipster at least three times by friends in the past two weeks!

It's strange to think I won't see many of my friends for a few months. I met some fellow physicists this evening for drinks (I think it was the first time I haven't been asked to show my ID when buying Coke), I'm glad I was able to catch up with them before we go our separate ways.
