Late light, Clough head

What is happening to our weather? It's June next week and we woke up to a sprinkling of fresh snow on the tops! Running over to Penrith first thing gave me a view of the Pennines, with even more snow. Through the day we had rain, sun, hail and even sleet, but the pictures we saw tonight were great - partly due to the wonderful changing weather through the day.

This is a late afternoon shot of Clough Head - I liked the vestiges of snow in the gulley (that's been there since late October) and the patch of sunlight.

Hopefully visiting Rannerdale tomorrow.
