Blue banded damselfly

These beautiful little critters have been blipping regulars for me recently but there will come a time, probably soon, when there is none to be seen. It must be their breeding season and they love our ponds for that purpose. Whenever I see one I feel lucky. When I see a pair in congress I feel doubly lucky.
