Today's The Day....

..my sister and I are awaiting the arrival of the airport limo...things are still going into and out of the suitcases...but that will have to stop any minute...

It has been rather hectic these last couple of days.. all those usual last minute tasks related to leaving one's pet and house in the care of others, pre-paying services needed while one is away..and oh yes, the good news...I have found a new gardener to replace the wonderful Eldon..and he came for his orientation. So that was a bonus! Pretty much all that needed to be done eventually got done! 

Then the expected chaos of air travel we all hear about these days was dumped on us last night with flight changes of which we had not been notified! ..Being denied access to getting our boarding passes online had led to calls to customer service which revealed that unbeknownst to us, our flight schedule had been changed! Quel surpris! New tickets and seat assignments had to be done before we could get our boarding passes..Geez...there are 4 flights involved in this trip and so far three of them have been altered...one of them twice! But that too got solved...

The next step in the journey is about to take place..Fingers crossed that it will go well!

PS: In between errands this morning, I dropped by the beach to see what was happening, and the answer was - "not much"...except for this little scene which I thought might work for one last blip from Lake Ontario until I get back in June!
