Mr Floppy

Well, yes, you know where, you know when, I met this funny little male chaffinch.  He came and flopped down on the branch, looking flattened.  His ladyfriend was with him, much brighter, but he just sat, however close I got.  In this shot he has just raised his head and is looking interested in something and then he did fly away, but it was the oddest encounter!

Sunny this morning, but now it's raining again.  I keep looking out of the office window at the gardening job I've only half done and wonder when I'll ever get to finish it.  Perhaps I should just spend my time flopping around like the chaffinch.
