Wound up in Wexford

Grandpa's work

I emptied another three boxes today, pictures and ornaments from the study in Norfolk.  Many of the items have been stored away in cupboards, awaiting a decision on their location.  But a few items, including these two carvings by my grandpa, have found a place in my sewing room.

I have, and have blipped, a number of items made by my grandpa.  I've blipped these two items before, along with a few other bits, but when I sat down to blip this evening, I realised that it was in fact grandpa's birthday.  Born in 1897, he would have been 126 today!

My grandparents loved Ireland, made several visits, and aptly, these two carvings are mounted on Connemara marble.
