Day 5

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. 

If I was not convinced that we really needed to replace this roof, I am now.

After a well earned Easter break we are back on track, stripping tiles, lath and felt from the front of the house.

And what a disgusting mess. 

There are signs of mice infestation, a huge amount of bird's nests and wasp nests. Decades of filth.

I will be so glad when it is done.

The weather began beautifully but soon referred to type. 

Cold, wet and very windy. 

Not the best for scrabbling around on wet scaffolding. 

But getting there. 

Time for a long hot shower.
