Crazy Day

Well what a mad day. Started out being met by the lovely Satnam Rana from BBC Midlands today and interviewed for a piece for TV. Then helped steward at the big tent where we had 1500 excited primary school kids waiting for Jeremy Strong - who was very funny.
Lunch time went to reception for Prince Charles and Camilla but their helicopter broke down and they were late so spent time talking to a brilliantly cool octogenarian who has done research on snails and homing instincts.
More filming, eventually met Charles ( who was great ) and Camilla ( who was also lovely)
Finally herded 1800 adults into big tent for Noah and the Whale who were amazing. Crowd were great and hardly any rubbish to clear up.

As a final cherry on the top of my day I was asked if I might consider taking high res photos of some of the celebs in the green room for a charity promoting books and reading . Panicking if I'm up to the task - starts with Caitlin Moran on Saturday.
Any advice re what is best lens for candid shots in a tent with low ish light and no flash greatly appreciated ! Wondering re f1.8 50mn prime. Only other one I have is 18-135 IS.
Sorry I have been rubbish commenting last few days . Will catch up at weekend
