Minimalist Ball

I recently watched a seminar on minimalist photography. The presenter suggested using weather events in a snow and ice setting to isolate and create such photos. Having access to none of those items here, I went with sunshine and a solid backdrop to see what I could come up with. I didn't think the shots of just the ball were as interesting as this one with the shadow and stonework.
