Owl

This is a Barred Owl, which we saw in the garden of a pub we were visiting after a 44km. Bike ride with a friend. It is so nice to see such an amazing bird, wild and up close. I seem to be on a roll with birds right now.
We were taken for a trip, by boat ( a Ranger Tug) to Vancouver Island. Then we rode our bikes, and then to the pub. We also had three dogs along, but they happily slept on the boat. Home , again by boat, and now I'm tired!
