Miniature Daffodils

One of the 'normal' daffodils had taken the hint from Nebraska, but these miniature ones were more photogenic.

Another long battle with the orchard today. Sue-Ellen the cat was spectator. He is one of the recent additions to our herd of cats and there may have been an initial misunderstanding, however he really doesn't mind. Other new cats are Blasczak and Czarnecki. They both had to be 'done' and there are fewer gnashings of teeth now. Czarnek has those pleasures in store.

Sadly, we are reduced to one dog now but we still have to be very careful that the cats don't slip, unseen, into the house. Muttley is generally quite mild but there's no need to test his boundaries.

Asparagus corms may arrive tomorrow. Quite a few trees of various kinds will arrive soon. I'm longing for the 'paddles' for our new bread machine to come. I've been experimenting with bread lately. The trouble is - I can't eat it.
