Two lumps
Today didn’t go as expected.
Last night we were discussing the large eucalyptus tree in the garden that sadly showed a lot of dead branches.
We decided next time the gardeners came to cut the front grass we would ask them to chop it down to just the trunk level and make a bird table out of the remaining good wood.
This morning I had a text from Gary - "see you shortly’….
Now the tree has gone. It’s a shame but it wasn’t going to get better!
Anyway, they cut the branches to what seemed to be level, by eye. It was a little out, so they straightened it and these two lumps were all they had to take off to provide the base of the table part.
Gary will set to making that now and go from there.
It’s much tidier and opens that part of the garden significantly to let in more light.
