Liz’s Lovely Layers

One of the many lovely things about living here is the number of people selling fresh eggs, veg, honey etc from their garden gates. Ruby and I had popped into the farm shop at Carfrae for some local foodstuffs but had to check the box here and Liz’s ducks had come good. Half a dozen duck eggs swapped for £2.50. They were fried as soon as we were home. Delicious.

We’ve had sunshine today, and hailstones, and snow. Unfortunately for Mrs S the hailstones started when she was at the furthest point in the walk with the dogs.
