What a night

Didn’t sleep well with the heavy rain and very strong winds, camper was shaking and the skylight tapping. Think some of the people in tents must have slept in cars or perhaps used the washing up point by the farmhouse as the tents were flat when I took Hetty out first thing. It has rained all day, with winds not as strong as last night. Thought it was safe to go for a walk after lunch but didn’t get far before it started again resulting in a change of trousers.
So not much exercise today but plenty of reading, and I did have a nap so don’t feel as tired as I did this morning.
The view from the camper is fabulous and when the rain stopped and the sky changed I was out with the camera.
Just had Hetty down on the beach for a quick run around.
Hoping it will be dry tomorrow as we would like to do a walk on Iona.
