Three Little Pigs

Today's the day ...................... to be up close 

We're looking after Tessa and Josie for a couple of days, in this the second week of the school holidays.  We arranged to meet for the pickup in the car park of the Kilnford Farm Shop near Dumfries.  It's easy for us to get there and it's more or less on Anna's way into work - so it suits us all fine.

And today, we had the added bonus of making the acquaintance of these fine girls.  I have to say that I don't know much about pigs - but they looked to be quite young.  They were very friendly at any rate and seemed to be enjoying life, routing about in the field making a fair bit of noise.

I don't think I've ever been this up close and personal to a pig before, never mind three of them .......................!
