Feeder Birds

Usually this feeder - a small hanging "platform" feeder that I put sunflower chips in - is totally covered with goldfinches. But every now and then something else flies in and commandeers it. I was amused this morning to see - one directly after the other - a male downy woodpecker and then a male red-winged blackbird. The red-winged blackbird, I noticed, was pretty sloppy - which allows the true ground feeders to have a chance to clean up after him under the hanging feeder.
