My bloody youngest child…

Firstly I need to address my 3rd born and her swollen little head .. look I really shouldn’t laugh … Lucy seemed to forget she was just 9 degrees north of the equator and spent 9 hours frolicking in the coastal jungle of Borneo including some swimming in the sea …….. well readers here is a cautionary tale to reapply higher factor sunscreen many many MANY times and wear a hat . Bloody kids .
She’s alright , just a bit puffy …. They’ve got her a wide brimmed hat now .
The very nice man with my middle child and burnt baby is Howard , he is a friend of Jim’s going right back to when they were about 7 , they went to junior school then both on to Warwick boys together, Howard always loved travel and often went off exploring, quite a few years ago he settled in Borneo and now has a family and a business there .
Eve went out 5 years ago and stayed for a week .. it’s very remote and there are compost toilets and LOTS of wildlife …. Jim & I are planning to go out , hopefully next year .

Tomorrow I have my own ( not quite so exotic) adventure beginning …… I may have bigged it up somewhat …… haaaaa
