A quiet morning-once again sunny and bright despite a more threatening forecast. I was determined not to miss out on it today so took a walk via the Meadows to the library where I took the Edinburgh guide books back that I’d taken out for my recent home swap guests and looked for something about Borneo…V and I are planning a trip there next March to see the orangutans.
Came home via Lauriston place and saw how EFI is looking as the end of the construction period draws to a close…impressive, but still clearly a lot to do especially on the event space and western entrance (extra)
Caught up on a few domestic admin jobs and did some online training then booked theatre tickets for next week.
V came round and we did some planning for Borneo…so many decisions! We’re both on the same page about what levels of accommodation (and sanitation!) we’d prefer so that helps!
We went down for the traditional fish and chip supper before going to see Matthew Bourne’s Sleeping Beauty ballet. Great stuff! Lots of his signature moves, great costumes and a wonderful puppet baby - really enjoyed it.
