Getting ready

Forget packing a suitcase etc (no room in the car for one with all the wine samples left over from the show I'm taking to pour for my lovely Lincs customers...). This is the selection of full bottles I'm taking - we have to pay for these at cost price, need them to generate a good £5K plus, what with fuel costs, food, etc...
Big bonus today was organising tasting with lovely couple (Smiths) after 3 years of them both being too ill to drink...
"We have run down our supply so could do with a top up - and testing some different ones sounds like a plan. We are available Sunday 16th if you can make late afternoon? xx" Made my day! They don't know it, but my first tasting with them made me realise I could do this job MY WAY (ie non pushy, honest, straight) and succeed. I remember driving home with a proper happy smile after a struggle with life for the previous year or so...
