Back at the Best Res

West Reservoir - so good to be back. It’s such clear water and still mightily chilly at just over 11 degrees. We couldn’t stay in long and the wind really buffeted us. The water got choppy and when it’s thrown at your face, it feels like ice pellets.

IrishLass left this morning and LongLegs left much later. It’s been a really nice long prolonged time with them.

And I visited a garden centre this afternoon too - so pleased to see so many beautiful plants - but todays visit was about gathering stuff for HatBox and SkyeMan, who we’re seeing tomorrow.

And that Mother of the Groom dress I bought yesterday is going back. I called in to see a seamstress friend this evening who confirmed a niggle I had ..
