Curly Ferns

Today our photography was limited as a grup of us went to the Wildlife Photographers of the Year Exhibition at the Rheged Centre outside Penrith. Though many of the photos were really stunning we were a bit disappointed in the print quality as this seemed a bit flat especially when we compared them with the images in the yearbook afterwards in the shop. Maybe the exhibition prints had been coated with something to avoid damage, I don't know.

We stopped off at Aira Force for lunch and then moved on to Brothers Water. I set myself the task of taking some curly headed ferns and getting the right depth of field to have all the ferns pin sharp whilst trying to blur the background so this is my blip today. Not entirely inspiring but worth seeing LARGE
