Just one flower appeared with another plant in one of the pots at our offices. Hopefully next year we will have a bit more.

A bit of a stressful day as the powers that be are debating the funding to NGOs, and it seems they are going to drastically cut Social Work services and possibly our home based care services too. It just proves yet again how the ANC has failed the country when they blame everyone but themselves for financial mismanagement. Leaders from the disability sector are picketing the offices of the department responsible, we hope they succeed.

Loadshedding has been increased to stage six which means an average of 11 hours a day without power. Thankfully it doesn’t affect us at home but work is a challenge when there is 4.5 hour periods without power.

World class African city is still the slogan used for Joburg. I think not!!!
