A dull day in thegarden

A really winter day today! was going to do some weeding but chickened out so had no blip. As I was setting off tonight to go to my son's I remembered seeing these bright flowers, so I took few photos of them in desperation. This one came out ok! Not sure what plant it is but it is a perennial and brightens up the rather dull front garden-faces North with little sun.
