Mary Quant!

11°C  -  8 mph W Wind Speed  -  14 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy.   Learnt with great sadness that Mary Quant has died.  I lived in London during the ‘6s, ‘70s and ‘80s when she was at her peak, and I regularly shopped at her shops particularly the one in Kings Road, Chelsea.  I never wore her hot pants or miniskirts but loved her bellbottoms as you can see from an old photo of me some time in the ‘70s.  I met Mary Quant several times  -  we both had Welsh mothers and a love of clothes  -  I loved her smile.  RIP Mary Quant!
