Stormy skies over the Gironde
We seem to be on the edge of storm Noa which is currently battering the UK.
It was very windy last night and this has continued today with occasional heavy downpours. We drove over to the other side of the peninsula this afternoon for a brief walk along the coastline in between the rain showers. In this shot the skies are looking rather ominous and shortly afterwards there was another downpour. The normally grey waters of the Gironde look rather like a sandy desert.
I have have blipped the remains of these wrecked vessels before from a slightly different spot, but can't find any information about them on the internet.
There's a pano shot in the extra.
