The Longest House

Today we went to the Parkland at Wentworth Woodhouse to look for Willow Tits. Sadly we didn’t find any. Perhaps conditions weren’t ideal - still very gusty and showery at times. We passed the House - at 606 feet the East Front façade is the longest of any country house in the UK! The story of this house and estate is a fascinating one.
