Mary Quant 1930-2023

I was living in Washington DC during the Mary Quant miniskirt era, the "swinging sixties". The department stores were well stocked with the latest dresses and Vidal Sassoon had a salon where I had my hair cut.
Mary Quant was my age and I was size 12 *. Just looking at the pictures brings back nice memories. : )

* I can't remember what the sizes were, but a few years ago I looked at a couple of dresses I still had saved, and I couldn't even get one arm inside ! ;-))
