Husband was taking his mother to a doctor appointment, so I asked him to drop me off a new store that recently opened. I have a dear friend who moved to a nearby neighborhood, so I was going to walk to her house afterward.

Unfortunately (for me) I was unaware of all the beautiful blooms that would greet me along my walk. Let's just leave it at the fact that I might have walked a couple of miles instead of the one mile to my friend's house. And how she actually came and picked me up to make sure I found her house safely!

This beautiful Iris was spotted (after the rain) at a Greek restaurant I discovered along the way....
