A lot of weather

These cyclists put us to shame with their perfectly equipped tandem, waterproof panniers and neat and tidy baby trailer. In contrast, in my orange gilet I looked more like a trawlerman as we cycled around the Outer Hebrides.

This was at Oban ferry port before we even left mainland Scotland.

Where's the fun in being so boringly well prepared though...apart from not having to scowl and cuss your way through hail showers because they feel like blades of ice hitting you horizontally in the face.
