Life goes on.
Tree gets cut down.
Little bracket fungus moves in.
Middle goes mushy.
Sycamore seed helicopters down, lands and sprouts.
The circle of life goes on.

Wonder why they cut down the old tree, I'm sure that it was preferable to a 20m sycamore.
