Aldeburgh

A visit to Aldeburgh on the Suffolk coast today, this was the home of composer Benjamin Britten who is buried in the local parish church. The main picture is the Scallop, a sculpture on the beach by the artist Maggi Hambling , a tribute to the composer. It is a local tourist attraction and there was lots and lots of people walking around it. I had to time the shot to miss the crowds.
