Cannon was up at 5:30 this morning for an early start (he doesn’t mind too much as he finishes early). S and I had another slow morning, lots of playing and reading together. We decided to go into Gloucester to get the last few bits of school uniform and PE kit from M&S, I underestimated how much stuff she needed! I will get everything secondhand when she goes up a size, I’ve felt quite weird buying things new but I suppose it’s nice for her very first uniform. We had a look in Waterstones and along the outdoor market. I took a packed lunch for S and bought myself a lovely falafel, hummus and salad wrap and we sat in the grounds of the cathedral eating our lunch, watching a group of young girls wow S with their gymnastic skills. We got the bus home and ended up falling asleep together. Really looking forward to spending the weekend with Cannon, the weather is meant to be nice tomorrow.
