More wildlife in the house
This time some sort of ?shield bug? investigating W's not entirely successful attempt to hold a wire for an extension lead up under the kitchen cabinets with glue. At the time, his shoulder was so painful that any attempt at nailing or screwing up wire holding clips was beyond him.
After breakfast, we decided that we needed a day out. Nothing very exciting, but a shopping trip to Gorey, where W hoped to source rye flour and yeast. We had a nice drive up there, passing through Enniscorthy and Ferns. Gorey itself didn't seem very exciting, but has a good range of shops, including a Tesco Extra.
We - eventually - tracked down some bread yeast. But rye flour doesn't seem to "be a thing" in Ireland. We did find a number of other items on our shopping list, and of course many items that we hadn't realised we needed till we saw them! Plenty of mousetraps, but no sign of a humane mouse trap. There was a trap to catch rats alive, but any self respecting mouse would have easily escaped between the bars.
On the way home I missed a turn in Enniscorthy and we had an interesting excursion into some housing estates.
Enniscorthy centre looked more interesting than Gorey for meandering round, so we will be back there soon.
Another sunny day ended with another glorious sunset - see extra.
