The golden fifty…

It’s been a lovely day!

Given as I am to putting up banners and balloons at home on special occasions, I brought balloons for today for our hotel room. We had brought cards with us that had arrived ahead of our leaving yesterday. One was from Australia! Thank you very much SweetArt! We are promised others will be waiting when we get home tomorrow.

We decided on Faversham for today. A quiet favourite venue. We enjoyed a lovely walk along the Thames estuary and walking through the boatyard was amazing. Many boats being restored from almost wrecks to homes and sea worthy craft.

Tonight’s dinner has been wonderful. Five courses! We’re both replete, as my dear dad would say.

Many gratefuls today and it’s been wonderful to have messages from dear friends, and a video from Esmée and Théa wishing us a ‘Happy Anniversity!’ This is some landmark!
