Pieris popping

Just a couple of days ago the Pieris blossom was tightly furled but this afternoon the bells were fully open, enjoying the warm sunshine. 
I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather all week and today I knew I definitely had a cold! My first one since before the pandemic, what a scunner! Hopefully it won’t last long.
I’ve spent much of the day trying to complete an online consultation document about possible changes to marine protection. Although I’m all for protecting our marine wildlife, these changes have been badly thought through and threaten the livelihoods of quite a number of island families of working age.
