Dinner at Catherine’s to celebrate a Helen T’s birthday, a sumptuous feast was provided. Great eve with happy friends and tall stories , and lots of dogs ( she has 7) !
Another beautiful sunny day , early morning road ride with Caelan . Ponies were a pain for the first half, with lots of pratting about which I hate when there’s traffic around . Then once we were heading for home , good as gold of course . They were amazingly fab when a shot gun was being fired nearby , only startling, not fleeing . We shouted at the farmer to stop and he did thankfully.
Grass got its 2 nd mow of the
Year and looks 100 times better I’m for it .
