Down Town

We were in town for some groceries and I thought I would show you the hills from down there.  Now the pine trees are being logged the idea is to be replanted with natives and a mixed exotic woodland to provide a permanent green backdrop to the town.  The area is 150 ha/370 acres and will be named Kingsland Forest Park.  More mountain bike and walking tracks will be built.  I may not see the trees mature but I should see it covered in green foliage rather than cleared dirt.  I wonder if they want to build a gondola for old ladies to ride to the ridge line?
