13.2C but feeling cooler in the wind. Bright with blue sky.
Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after our lunch. We shared a big omelette today. My share went into sandwiches, Maeve's went in her bowl (but not for long).
The beach was empty today, so we took our time walking along the few metres of sand left by the high tide. We walked along the water line and looked for bits and bobs which often show up nice and bright in the wet area left by retreating waves. Maeve dodged a few waves but didn't paddle.
I liked this little piece of pottery, broken and worn but still with some character and colour. Maeve suggested the upturned zinc tub. It seems to have become the default place for blipping our little beach finds. I hope it isn't tidied away into one of the Fishermen's huts !
The back lawns have been mowed this afternoon, and there has been quite a lot of strimming too.
