A day of two halves

Woke to a gorgeous morning - Deb was at work, so I put a wash on, and went down to the bay by Ashness landing stage. Pretty calm water (assisted by a big stopper filter to give a longer exposure) gave me some pleasing results. 

It was so lovely, when I got home I hung the washing out while I went to do the weekly shop in Penrith. Coming out of the supermarket and looking towards Keswick, I realised I might have made a mistake. Driving home the rain and hail was really heavy, the poor washing was wetter than when I had taken it out of the machine. So the tumble drier got an extra run today.
