Shades of green

A day that started well and ended with persistent rain. My car went into the garage for its slightly overdue MOT test - all very painless, just needed a new pair of wiper blades, which I'd expected. The healthcheck came back all clear so hopefully I can look forward to a troublefree year carwise.

Most of the day was spent report writing and catching up with emails. This Ring-necked Parakeet provided a bit of a diversion in the late afternoon. We recently coppiced our Viburnum and now have feeders hanging on a metal structure, which seems to give them an easier approach. Starlings and Jackdaws also seem to like the new arrangement, though plenty of small birds are still visiting.
