Autumn From my Terrace

A much pleasanter day weather-wise. Busy few hours down at the Railway catering for a bus load of Australians. They are always appreciative of their lunch and full of praise for our country They do a 19 day bus tour flying into Auckland and out of Christchurch.
The other interesting happening down at the Railway today was driver experience was on today. One woman had driven about three hours and paid a lot of dollars to experience learning to drive the big steam engine. We are the only place in NZ that they can do it. So the big AB699 was going slowly up and down the track all day.. Very stringent rules and training before they can ever get their ticket
Autumn colours really brightening up and I enjoy this view from my Terrace.
