However, the Bees are in full nectar collecting mode and this is a good reason to do nothing physical. Sorry, no photos of Bees! 

However, I do have a lilac branch opening up and this is the Lilac that was literally blown apart two years ago and the three main trunks are spreadeagled on the ground.

The only reason I can up with for this event is a rather large chunk of ice following from the sky, possibly from an aircraft.

This particular lilac is ahead of the other lilacs in the garden.
