Got lucky this morning! Just opened the patio doors and setting up the camera when I saw a bird on the telephone wire which I couldn't even see properly as I have to take my glasses off when looking through the viewfinder. Fired off a burst and got this.


We don't get many goldfinches here, very occasional visitor. I love goldfinches. Seem to be hanging about too now that I have the binoculars out,  so hopefully they'll nest nearby. Some long tailed tits flying about too. Love it when nature comes to me ☺️
