Roaring Harley's, Crouching Lion
What a lovely day, sunny, cool but not freezing cold, a great day for a ride even if it was quite short.
I started by going off to TESCO, a couple of miles, to get some fresh bread cut. I get a couple of loaves and split them into bags of half a dozen slices. Into the freezer and it's like having fresh bread every time we use it.
From there I took the outer ring road in Gloucester to go to Oily Rag, about 4 miles, where Harley Davidson was being hosted with their range of bikes. On the way there I passed 10 or 12 people out on a group test ride. I sailed past them, with my left arm out in Biker Salute as respect to fellow bikers.
The top photo is the bikes all parked up after the ride.

Bottom photo is the crouching lion. He's big, he's beautiful, his eyes are so good you could swear he could see you. However, he must have been attacked by another male lion because he had a large open wound all down his neck onto his back (actually, it was only the stitching of course!).
He was at our house for the grand seamstress to repair him and make him like new. Marlane is just fantastic when it comes to sewing, or even making things on her machine. The lion, of course, required hand stitching.
He's back home now with Buddy.
