Tulips

Today's the day ...................... to bring joy

Much as I love daffodils - and there are still plenty of them still around (see extra) - I really, really love tulips.

There are such a variety of colours and shapes, it's hard to choose which ones to try next.  But the great thing is that once you plant them, you have them for ever.  Once they have finished flowering, you can stick them in a bit of the garden and forget about them - until they reappear the following spring.  

The ones above are called 'Fly Away'  -  and this is their second year of doing their bit to bring joy to the world ......................!
